On the first day with the urban sketching group we sketched spaces inside the Manchester Central Library and the sketch i was happiest with at the end of the day was this sketch of a hallway and staircase on the 3rd floor with a nice aesthetic.

There are many ways to depict a space. After exploring the medium of urban-sketching and filming, we were taught of the art of comic book-making.

We spent the morning exploring through Northern Quarter to get ideas for our story-based narrative. In studio, we were introduced to Archontia Manolakelli of the Manchester University Comic Collective where we explored our narratives in a form of a comic.

First talk on architectural narratives mixed with fictional narratives in theme parks by Alex Watts, followed by an afternoon workshop and talk from Archontia Manolakelli of Manchester University Comic Collective on narratives in Comic-Books and how this can relate to architectural spaces.
