we cut open the bottles of mushrooms and then displayed them by hanging them from the frame. Unfortunately mine hadn't grown!

Great to see that the structure is still standing despite the weather... Although some mushrooms do not appear to be growing!

Day 2
We combined all the groups designs from the day before into one new one incorporating features from each. We then began planting our mushrooms by filling old plastic bottles with coffee waste, seeds half way through, more coffee waste and finally a little water.

Day 1
We began by being briefed on mushroom farming and how we can grow mushrooms out of coffee waste (the blue economy). Then in groups we designed structures made out of plastic crates which would then feature the mushrooms when they were grown. My group looked at stacking the crates in a snake shape and guide people round and also with tables cause more interaction between the structure, mushrooms and people.
