Fascinating visit to Elizabeth Gaskell's House in Plymouth Grove, Ardwick. Intriguing use of light and stained glass within the central circulation space which helps to add vibrancy to an otherwise dark space.

Day 01: 30.04.14
Brilliant talk from Frank Galvin today (the Head of Restoration at the Elizabeth Gaskell House). He presented a slideshow that discussed all aspects of the restoration process so that students knew what to expect for their site visit on Day 02.
